Brayden Supervision Services offers Supported Supervised Parenting Time for families where children and/or their parent may benefit from additional support during parenting time due to family circumstances, ongoing concerns, or challenges affecting the parent-child relationship. This service combines supervision with guidance for the visiting parent. Supervisors may offer practical support with day-to-day caregiving, age-appropriate child development, behaviour management, and strategies that encourage positive parent-child interactions. The visiting parent remains responsible for the care of their child throughout the visit, while the Supervisor provides guidance as appropriate.
Supported Supervised Parenting Time may be suitable when a parent would benefit from assistance in understanding and responding to their child's individual needs or when additional support can help promote positive interactions during visits. For families who have experienced a significant disruption in the parent-child relationship, this service may provide opportunities to support the development of healthy interactions and strengthen the parent-child relationship over time.
Supported Supervised Parenting Time is not therapeutic access or reunification therapy. It may, however, complement parenting time goals that are part of a broader therapeutic and/or reunification process directed by other professionals.
