Carly Clapp specializes in person-centred community care, using a library of frameworks with adaptability and fluidity to create accessible pathways for each client. She combines techniques from philosophy, sociology, anthropology, and psychology with historic knowledge to support people and facilitate hope. Focused on equitable social justice and accessible systems, Carly brings critical insight while prioritizing safety, respect, and compassion. As a member of our Referral Coordination Team, Carly organizes between families, legal representatives, child protection agencies, Service Directors and senior management to facilitate a safe space where kids get to be kids.
Lynda Evans, levans@braydensupervision.com, has 25+ years of experience working with children, adolescents and their families in mental health programs that focus on assisting individuals gain control over their behaviour. Lynda attended York University and graduated with a degree in psychology. She has also provided services as a private practitioner in a number of settings and in community based contracts. She brings an exceptional professional manner in dealing with client, family members and with community organizations in social service, education, youth justice and health care.
Georgina Mangos, georgina@braydensupervision.com, is a Child and Youth Worker with over 25 years of experience working with individuals with mental health issues and behavioural challenges. Georgina worked in residential homes, day treatment settings and the Durham District School Board with infants, youth, adolescents and their families. In these roles, Georgina developed an extensive understanding of assisting children who were dealing with the affects of trauma. She has dedicated herself throughout her career to ensuring that children are able to thrive in a safe environment. After working in the private sector, Georgina joined the Brayden team in 2019 working in the field as a Supervisor and as a Service Director.
Alimah Sutherland, alimah@braydensupervision.com, is a Child and Youth Worker with over 15 years experience working with children, youth and their families. Her experience has been in the area of children’s mental health and various exceptionalities. Alimah has worked in a day treatment hospital setting for children diagnosed with Oppositional Defiant Disorder, residential settings, and in intensive support programs supporting children with behavioural challenges, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and intellectual disabilities. Over her career Alimah had dedicated herself to supporting children and fostering a safe and welcome environment. Alimah has been with the Brayden team since 2019 having worked in the field as a Supervisor and a Service Director.
Kellie Gies, kellie@braydensupervision.com, is a certified Child and Youth Counsellor with over 15 years experience working with children and families. Her experience has been in the areas of children’s mental health, family support, modeling and problem solving; special education and family supervision. Kellie has worked in and developed programming for youth in a children’s mental health inpatient unit in a hospital setting; and assisted in bridging the gaps between children, their families and teachers within the school system. Kellie holds a Child and Youth Worker Diploma from Humber College. She has been with Brayden since 2012 as a visit supervisor and service director.
Tara Reid-Laframboise, tara@braydensupervision.com, has an extensive background in mental health, youth residential and court appointed supervised parenting time for parents and children. She has spent her career working in diversified roles including co owner, management, front line and trainer. She is a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner as well as a certified trainer for Non-Violent Crisis Intervention. Tara speaks at a mandatory information program for individuals going through the family court process. She holds a BA in Psychology from Trent University. Tara is previously co-owner of Reid and McKinnon Supervised Access Services and in 2016 has merged services with Brayden Supervision.
Dawn Field, dawn@braydensupervision.com, is a Child and Youth Worker with over 25 years of experience providing direct care to children, youth and families. She holds a Child and Youth Care diploma from St. Lawrence College in Brockville and has completed post-graduate courses on Bereavement Education and Grief Counselling. Dawn has experience working in the Child Welfare sector in assessment programs, supporting foster parents with behaviour management strategies, safety behaviour plans and collaborative problem solving. She has worked in the education sector, assisting schools and families on how to manage complex behaviour needs both in school and at home. Dawn has co-facilitated groups for youth who have lost a parent or sibling. Dawn is trained in collaborative problem-solving, suicide prevention, conflict resolution and complex mental health disorders. She has extensive experience assisting children and families who were dealing with the effects of trauma. Dawn is committed to ensuring that children are able to thrive in a safe environment.
